Process

The process begins when we meet!  Steve Thompson gives his personal attention to every Centurion client. If you come to us with “just an idea”, we’ll work with you and build on that idea.  We’ll seek out the location that best suits your dreams.  We’ll meet on site and discuss the lay of the land and its features – those you want to keep and those that need to change.  We’ll mark trees to be kept, the driveway entrance, the orientation of the home, and where the pool will be.  We’ll indicate the view from different rooms.  Your every desire will be addressed, and every detail noted.

If you come to us with a plan, we’ll be happy to review it for additional comments and make suggestions, or simply cost the plan out as is.  If you do not have a plan, we have excellent working relationships with architects, designers, and engineers who will work with you to develop a plan that suits your dreams and your budget. 

Once the plans are finalized, we take care of everything else!  We’ll get engineered drawings for trusses, wind loading, uplift requirements, energy calculations, window designs, HVAC calculations, electrical requirements, plumbing risers details, nailing schedules and roofing requirements.  We’ll even handle all of the paperwork to obtain the necessary permits and construction permit.

We never forget that this is your home we’re talking about and working on.  Our job is to make it happen, and to make it an enjoyable experience for you every step of the way.
